Zella M. Raney

A funeral service for Zella May Raney, 81, of North Bend will be held at 1pm, Saturday, October 19 at North Bend Chapel, 2014 McPherson Avenue in North Bend. A public visitation will be held from 10 am to 5pm, Friday, October 18 at North Bend Chapel. Private interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay.

Zella was born August 16, 1938 in Weiser, Idaho to Glenn William and Ethella Lois (Ferris) Johns. She passed away September 30, 2019 in North Bend.

Zella held various jobs throughout her life, but she retired after many happy years working at the North Bend Visitor’s Center.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Carlson, Charlene Raney McGinnis, Deborah Sapp and Racley Vass; adopted children, Randy Brown, Billy Brown and Betty Trujillo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Lloyd Johns, Verl Johns, Warren Johns, Ila Quick, Jerry Johns, Sharon LeManquis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and adopted daughter, Kim Brown- Case.
