Sharen S. Reese

A celebration of life for Sharen Sue Reese, 73, of North Bend, will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 23 at Shoreline Community Church, 1251 Clark St. in North Bend. Please wear colors - no black! Cremation was held at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay.

Sharen was born Aug. 13, 1944 in Coos Bay, to Rex Hevering and Geraldine (Johnston) Sorensen. She passed away May 18, 2018 in Coos Bay.

She married George Reese, Sept. 11, 1965. Together, they owned and ran an incredible business, Reese Electric, for many decades. “I was blessed to know two people who were in love before I knew what that meant.” - Kristine

Sharen was a supporter and volunteer at the Coos Bay Art Museum, and a member of the Job's Daughters International and the Coos County Shrine Club.

We have lost an incredible lady, spirit, woman in all of the best sense! Some of us will be lost without her… some of us will make up new rules because Sharen said we could! She is survived and loved by her amazing husband of 53 years, George B. Reese of North Bend; daughter, Kristine Reese of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Eric Sorensen; and sister, Kristine Foster.
