Oh Aunt Phoebe.. You were a wonderful woman. I have fond memories of the few times we were able to get together. I remember contacting you for genealogy info... only to get a phone call when you received my letter. You were in tears because you could picture exactly where you had most of it kept, but had only just upon opening my letter realized What you'd lost in the fire only 2 days earlier. I also fondly recall thinking you were a little off your rocker when you suggested giving my young 5-mo. old daughter a stick of jerkey to cut her teeth on. You were right... I used the same technique with my 2nd daughter as well. Thank you for that and for the memories. Rest gently in Heaven.
